Thanks to these photos we discover the life of a behind-the-line village. Sometimes faces are smiling, dreaming or sad, but always full of emotions. The quality and the artistic depth of the photos create a unique treasure.
The discovery
In 2011 the Australian TV does an unbelievable discovery ! In the attic of the Thuillier farmhouse, 4000 glass plates of photographic negatives from the First World War stored in old trunks.
The photos
Alone or together, with friends or family, hundreds of persons, women, men, children, come in the farmyard to have their portraits.
